Boot Camps with a Purpose, a worldwide organization is looking to obtain 501(c)3 status. We started with 1 boot camp class, charging 15$ to those who attended, and gave all that money away to our local food pantry. Since then, we have added 70 locations world wide who are hosting Boot camps, all benefiting different charities. Since we have grown so much, we'd like to obtain 501(c)3 status to cover the growing overhead we have incurred. We maintain a website www.bcwap.org and my partner and I are bankrupting ourselves to keep this worthwhile cause going. We have never made a dime, and don't want to make money we just want to grow bcwap and benefit as many charities as we can and just cover the overhead costs incurred.
We cannot afford to obtain this status as we do not make a cent doing this. Every person who donates the $15 to take the boot camp that benefits whatever charity their trainer has chosen, is assured every cent of that 15$ is being donated to that cause.

I want to start a small business. I want to open a gymnastics training center in Leesville, LA. There is nothing within 60 miles and a great demand from the military community in Fort Polk, LA. I do not have any resources to start a business. I am looking for grants to buy the necessary equipment, pay for initial insurances, pay for 90 days of a lease, and initial marketing. I have coached for 8 years and been a gymnastics contractor for the Army, but the opportunity to do the same here is not available. (Fort Polk doesn't have proper space or equipment to facilitate a safe and effective gymnastics program.)
